PRE-REGISTER & PAY ONLINE
ALL U9 & U10s must pre-register and pay online prior to  evaluations.  Registration and payment for summer league is due prior to attending tryouts - no exceptions.  No walk-up registrations.  Register

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING
Wear a T-shirt, shorts or athletic pants, shin guards and cleats.  Under Armour or long-sleeve T-shirt recommended.  Bring a ball and water bottle.

Summer 2010 TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
U9/U10 TEAMS were posted the evening of Sunday, November XX, 2010.  Once posted, the rosters are frozen and team placement is final. No requests to re-roster players for any reason (i.e., best friends, carpooling, etc.)

Roster Information will then be E-mailed to U9/U10 Coaches and Managers after teams are posted.  Please let Lisa know asap if there are any errors.
DECLINING A U9/U10 ROSTER SPOT
Families have until 5:00 PM on November XX, 2010 to decline their player's assigned Summer 2011 roster spot to receive a full refund of the registration fee (minus the $40 evaluation fee.)  Declines made after 5:00 PM on November XX, 2010 will not be refunded. No exceptions.

NATIONAL BACKGROUND CHECKS - Mandatory!
MYSA requires that ALL SUMMER AND FALL Coaches, Asst. Coaches AND Team Managers go online and submit a Background Check for those that did not complete one last fall.  The “soccer year” is Fall 09—summer 10 so anyone that completed the check last fall will not have to submit one for summer.  Please refer to your E-mail from Monique for the log-in information and instructions on completing the Background CheckClick here to start the Background Check.

MYSA COACHING CLINICS
Volunteer Coaches, As a club, we suggest at least a Y license, but an E license for older kids (U11+) or more competitive younger teams.  To find a clinic, and to register, go to:

2011 SUMMER TEAM MANAGERS' MEETING

Managers, please EMAIL your R.S.V.P. to
Lori Moore, manager coordinator, with the following information:
• Whether or not you will be attending the meeting
• Which team you are managing
• Then, watch for a print out to be E-mailed to all managers at the end of this month - Print and bring a copy with you to the meeting.


REFEREE PAYMENT CHECKS FOR YOUR TEAM'S HOME LEAGUE GAMES
Instructions will be included when and where you are to pick up your referee checks.  If, after receiving your packet, you still have questions, please E-mail Lisa Wolf, treasurer.  Lisa will be tracking questions and will continue to communicate with the managers.

HAVE YOUR TEAM'S SUCCESSES FEATURED IN THE CLUB PHOTO GALLERY
Even though scores aren't officially kept at U9 & U10, you know when you've done well, and we want to post your league and tournament successes (...undefeated, runners-up, etc.)  Please E-mail your photo and caption to us.  Include: Age group and level of play, Team name, Name and Date(s) of your Event, Photo attachment or pre-loaded photo ID #.  Include players' first names only (optional last initial) and coaches names back to front and left to right.
 
Team and Player Training
November through April
WINTER or SPRING PRE-SEASON SCRIMMAGES (Team Optional)
U9-U10 teams interested in scrimmaging other REV teams prior to the start of summer league games should contact the desired REV opponent directly.  The club has not arranged a scrimmage schedule this season, so any motivated U9-U10 teams should contact each other to arrange for pre-season scrimmages.

·  Contact the Coach or Manager from that team to set a date and time.

·  From Nov 1 - April 15, E-mail Chris Miller for Irish Sports Dome rental space availability and fees.

·  After April 15, E-mail Kevin Newman, field coordinator to reserve an appropriate sized outdoor field.

·  Follow-up by providing scrimmage details (location and time) to both teams.


"HAPPY FEET" FOOTSKILLS PROGRAM (Player Optional)
At Happy Feet, U9 & U10 kids will have a great time improving upon some very basic soccer skills giving them the advantage on the field in the spring!

Player Fee:  $32 for 4 sessions

How to register a player: 
1. Players let your manager know you would like to participate in Happy Feet.
2. Provide payment to your manager, either c
ash or a check written to: Dakota REV Soccer Club.

Managers:  To register your team, E-mail the following information to Ron Carter:

• The names of players that will be attending from your team
• Any questions you may have

TEAM TRAINING AT IRISH SPORTS DOME (Team Requirement)
Mandatory Team Training begins mid-March through April at the Irish Sports Dome. All registered players will train with their summer teams.

Dakota "REV-It-UP!" Spring Tournament
The Dakota REV tournament is held annually in May.  Information
 
Summer League, Soccer Camps & Team Photos

At the beginning of the Summer season, each player must submit the following to your Summer Team Manager:

• Completed and signed MYSA Medical Release Form

• Photocopy of your player's birth certificate.
• Current headshot of your player that is less than 1/2" square. Small school photos work well.
• Code of Conduct Pledge, parent signed
